چکیده
We characterize the average X-ray and radio properties of quiescent galaxies (QGs) with $\log{(M_\star/M_\odot)}>10$ at $01.5$ higher than star-forming (SFGs), derived same manner as VLA-COSMOS conducted identical sample, also find SFGs, which good agreement analysis. enhanced activity suggested individual wavelength supports its important role quenching high redshift. Their less obvious $z<1.5$, interpreted an increasing others lower redshifts, such environmental quenching.

The host galaxies of radio - quiet quasars at 0 . 5 < z < 1 . 0 ⋆
We present near-infrared H-band imaging of 15 intermediate redshift (0.5 < z < 1) radio quiet quasars (RQQ) in order to characterize the properties of their host galaxies. We are able to clearly detect the surrounding nebulosity in 12 objects, whereas the object remains unresolved in three cases. For all the resolved objects, we find that the host galaxy is well represented by a de Vaucouleurs ...
متن کاملDiscovery of an X - ray selected radio - loud obscured AGN at z = 1 . 246
We have discovered an obscured active galaxy at redshift z = 1.246 identified with the ROSAT X-ray source RX J1011.2+5545. We report on multiwavelength observations of this source and discuss its X-ray, optical and radio properties. This is the first X-ray selected, obscured active galaxy at high redshift to be shown to be radio-loud, with a radio counterpart exhibiting a classical double-lobe ...
متن کاملAgn Host Galaxies at Z ∼ 0 . 4 – 1 . 3 : Bulge - Dominated and Lacking Merger – Agn Connection
We investigate morphological structure parameters and local environments of distant moderate-luminosity active galactic nucleus (AGN) host galaxies in the overlap between the HST/ACS observations of the Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey (GOODS) and the two Chandra Deep Fields. We compute near-neighbor counts and BV iz asymmetry (A) and concentration (C) indices for ≈ 35, 500 GOODS/ACS gal...
متن کاملX-ray transient galaxies and AGN
X-ray transience is the most extreme form of variability observed in AGN or normal in-active galaxies. While factors of 2-3 on timescales of days to years are quite commen among AGN, X-ray transients appear only once and vanish from the X-ray sky years later. The ROSAT All-Sky Survey was the tool to discover these sources. X-ray transience in AGN or galaxies can be caused by dramatic changes in...
متن کاملConstraining Star Formation and AGN in z∼2 Massive Galaxies using High Resolution MERLIN Radio Observations
We present high spatial resolution MERLIN 1.4GHz radio observations of two high redshift (z∼2) sources, RGJ123623 (HDF147) and RGJ123617 (HDF130), selected as the brightest radio sources from a sample of submillimetre-faint radio galaxies. They have starburst classifications from their rest-frame UV spectra. However, their radio morphologies are remarkably compact (<80mas and <65mas respectivel...
